New Century Care

Layout design, content architecture, WordPress CMS, API integration

Client location
Sidcup, Kent

Large and informative website for national care home company.

New Century Care wanted to update their current website, both aesthetically and functionally and chose Squiders as their partner for this endeavour.

We undertook extensive stakeholder interviews to find out about the company, discover the current pain points and work out our benchmarks for success.

As well as creating an engaging experience with multiple, logical, user journeys we also needed to give our client the tools to manage the content and SEO on a daily basis. We turned to WordPress for this due to client familiarity with the product as well as the benefits of using plugins to meet their SEO authoring needs.

From a user journey perspective, we added postcode lookups and regional groupings of homes to give users different paths to the same information. Our key call to action was then to encourage booking a visit (which can all be done online). Additional contact information was also present for each home for those that prefer to call or email first. We will be monitoring all these approaches over the coming months to see which are the best received and which to promote prominence.

We had a terrific and energetic team at New Century Care supporting us, we wouldn’t be so proud of the launched project if it wasn’t for them.

We have had a great experience with Kris, and the team, at Squiders. They made everything easy from start to finish, were on the same wavelength immediately, and their experience and expertise has resulted in a beautiful website, of which we are very proud. Not only that but we will be continuing to work with Squiders on this project and other digital products in the future, and would not hesitate to recommend their services to others.
